Deborah Wallace, Ed.D. Principal BrinkPoint Consulting, LLC
Deborah Wallace is currently Principal at BrinkPoint Consulting, LLC, a firm providing consulting and research services to both public and private sector organizations. BrinkPoint’s consulting services focus on Director Education and Governance Reform.
In its research and writing capacity, BrinkPoint works with organizations, business leaders and academics to develop and prepare articles, case studies and books for a variety of business markets as well as for executive education programs.
Dr. Wallace is currently Executive Editor for the Meredith Winter Press, an independent publishing house dedicated to providing opportunities to young and disadvantaged high school and college students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue their passion for writing. Meredith Winter Press is also the publisher for books and materials generated at the Kantor Institute in Cambridge, MA (www.kantorinstitute.com). She was also Managing and Contributing Editor for Reflections from 2008-2011, an academic journal published by MIT’s Society of Organization Learning. Dr. Wallace is the author of numerous articles featured in such publications as Directors & Boards, Corporate Secretary Magazine, the Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Journal and Compliance and Ethics Magazine.
Prior to establishing BrinkPoint Consulting in 2004, Dr. Wallace was Vice President of Management and Leadership Development for Fidelity Brokerage Company, where she worked with its seven business unit presidents. For ten years, she was a Senior Consultant at Towers Watson (formerly Watson Wyatt Worldwide), where she was a core member of its Organization Effectiveness practice. During her time there, Dr. Wallace also introduced Governance and Board Effectiveness as a new area of expertise within the Organization Effectiveness practice and designed and led a case-based program for Watson Wyatt’s in-house Associate Development Program. In the early 1990’s, she was a Senior Consultant at Innovation Associates, a boutique firm founded by Peter Senge to advance the theory and practice of the Learning Organization
Dr. Wallace earned both her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Harvard University. She is a Fellow at National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Society of Organizational Learning (SoL).
